In this blog are my photos which I took while on a 3 week trip to Morocco this summer. It was a group driving holiday with the company Trailmasters on their Marrakech Classic Safari which we did from 13th September 2011 - 29th September 2011.
Our trip took us around the whole country: down from Spain to Ceuta, to Volubilis, Erg Chebbi and the Sahara, to Zagora, Dades Gorge and finally Marrakech after which we made our way back up to the boarder and back to Spain. (I've included a map below.) We were part of a group of 5, plus our Trailmasters guides John and Hassan. Throughout the blog there are plenty of pictures of the group in our cars driving through the country, you'll see Barry and Sandra in their dark green Landrover, Dave and Chrissie in their white Landrover, Nick, Matt and their little mascot duck Quacks in their black Landrover, Dave and Dave in their silver Mitsubishi, me, my mum and Dan in our Trooper and of course John and Hassan in their white Trailmasters Landcruiser.
I have dated the posts so they correspond with the correct day in which it happened in Morocco, I have also only written small captions as I think the pictures explain pretty much everything we did while we were travelling and what the country is like. All the pictures are taken by me, on my now slightly dusty canon, mostly while hanging out the window and being bounced around by the rough terrain. I hope you enjoy my photographs as I certainly enjoyed taking them all!
